Losing Weight Rapidly

Wanting to have a slimmer and sexier body is no lofty goal. A lot of people have succeeded in changing their physiques to cause them to look healthy and desirable. Though, this end is not attained in just a simple snap or skipping one or two night's dinner. For some people though, patience isn't a virtue. They are unable to afford so much attention, time and money to end up with the body that they have always wanted. Because of this, these people result to fast weight loss practices and programs which might not be as effective as the people are led to think they are.

Fast-track diets are one of the rapid weight loss practices that might not be very inviting as they seem according to research. Fast-track diet programs, as scientific research shows, is only good as long as they last. Quick weight loss often results ironically, to rapid weight gain. People who try low carbohydrate or low calorie diets usually just revert back to old eating habits just because human beings can't actually live on with this kind of diet plan for the rest of their lives.

Now there's also scientific research that shows that quick weight loss does not imply than an individual is losing unwanted excess fat; it's usually just water that's lost with following fast weight loss practices. This can cause alarm but actually, water lost is regained very fast. So there's actually zero net weight lost. So one shouldn't be foolish enough to be so gullible with the advertising of some of the diet pills out there on the market; especially those that claim to aid, lose a lot of amount of fat in a short time. These will just dehydrate the body. And just so it's clear, the body can only lose two pounds of fat per week, one can be very lucky if he can lose three, but normally, it's just two pounds per week. Remember this when you see a 'Lose 30 pounds in 30 days.' ad!

Another quick weight loss product out on the market is slimming soap. Claiming that the soaps are made from a unique concoction of very rare Chinese herbs and seaweed, they claim to help people that are using them to lose body fats by emulsifying them upon application while they take a bath. Some are even specialized, like the ones that promise to give the user "beautiful thighs." The ingredients might prove to improve the quality of the skin but there is no research that has ever come up yet that aids to prove the efficacy of these ingredients in emulsifying excess body fats.

Another rapid weight loss product out there on the market claims to suppress a persons hunger and at the same time, help to increase the persons metabolic rate. It also claims that it can accelerate the healing process and reduce certain body pains. All these, plus it being a very chic fashion accent. They are actually called magnetic weight loss earrings.

The 'secret' of this set of earrings is the magnet, or so it says. Wearing them near the ears claims to balance the magnetism in the body, therefore one will experience all of the above mentioned effects. Though press releases say that there are so called "studies" to back up these assertions, nothing yet is found in any of the medical journals that back this up. Though buying a set might not kill a person, it's probably not a very wise investment. Heck, one might as well wear a horse shoe earring for a much more exquisite fashion statement.

The bottom line is "no pain, no gain". If some one wants a beautiful body, they must just sweat it out. And as for those quick weight loss products that come out on the market, if they are too good to be true, they they obviously are not good.
