Losing Weight With Milk - Helpful Or Harmful?

Do you think milk is good for your body? If so then you really should read this article completely. Way too many people believe this just like you, and I can't blame people for this since dairy farmers are the cause of this. They claim that milk helps strengthen bones because it has calcium in it. (Remember 'Milk, it does a body good.'?) They also claim milk gives you such an energy boost that you'll feel like superman. Of course, they want you to believe all this so they can cash in on your ignorance. Just as other myths are going around the weight loss industry, this is also a myth.

1. In fact, the milk you buy from your local store isn't pure milk: it's been processed with the help of pasteurization, which means that it's been boiled to a temperature of 160 centigrade and then cooled down. Milk gets pasteurized so it will kill all the germs in the raw milk. On the other side, pasteurization will not only kill the germs, but it also kills the beneficial nutrients in milk. Enzymes like lipase and phosphates can be really beneficial to you, but you won't get those enzymes in pasteurized milk that you get from your local grocery store.

This is not, however, the end of this story. Pasteurization will also kill antibodies like immunoglobulin that's present in raw milk. Immunoglobulin helps immune your body against many diseases. As you can see, milk that comes in sealed packets is not beneficial for you.

There's more. After pasteurization is done, the milk is homogenized to make the cream stay at the bottom. Then several synthetic vitamins are added in order to make it 'nutritious'. However, remember that synthetic vitamins will never be substitutes for natural vitamins. These 'vitamins' are man-made chemicals that will do more harm than good to your body.

2. Milk also causes weight gain: Contrary to what you might of been told, milk will actually make you gain extra weight instead of helping you lose it. If you drink milk frequently, it's not surprising if you've become overweight. As you drink more and more milk, you can simply gain more and more weight.

3. Milk causes many other diseases: Along with weight gain, there are a lot of other harmful side effects of drinking milk, such as acne, arthritis, constipation, skin allergies, cancer, etc.

Do you still want to drink your milk? I hope not. Milk, it does a body harm.
